At Advanced Markets our goal is simple; to provide traders, retail and institutional alike, a trading environment that's fair. Sounds simple, and actually it is, when a company employs a strict STP (straight through processing) model. What this means is that Advanced Markets completely steps aside on ALL trades. ALL trades placed on our RealStream platform are sent DIRECTLY through to various liquidity providers, all of them being banks, which instantaneously execute the traders' orders. There is No repricing, and No gray price. There will always be a price during ALL market conditions. Advanced Markets does not have the ability to control or manipulate that price that leaves the banks price engine. It goes straight through to the end user, and when the client clicks on that price, it goes straight through to the liquidity source that sent out that live executable rate. Advanced Markets does not act as an ECN (An ECN takes in various prices from a number of institutions, aggregates those prices, and gives you their own price). What we do instead, is show you, the client, the price that comes in from the banks and let you, trade on that price. The only way to be fair to the end user is to be completely transparent. We have done this by removing the ability for a company such as ours to manipulate, freeze, skew, reprice, or have any control whatsoever over the price that goes to the client.
